Deloitte Day of Service!

Thank you all for your fun, happy-to-serve attitudes, hard work and your very generous donation!

Because of you, 200 more Refugees and their families will receive a quilt, and many more will benifit because of your service this day!

Friday, June 7th, these amazing, dedicated and friendly Deloitte volunteers came to our Stitching Hearts Service Center for their annual Day of Service.

They started out counting inventory for product kits and projects in different stages.

Then helped us make a donation delivery of 108 Quilts to Catholic Community Services!

Amir, from Catholic Community Services (CCS), brought their truck to pick up the quilts. He expressed how much the Refugees were loving the beautiful quilts we donated to them last month!

It was amazing how quickly our new friends completed each task!

Cutting fabric out for 100 plus backpacks,

Serging Backpacks,

Sewing casings for the backpacks,

Cutting out paracord, and putting them into backpack kits,

Measured and Carded fabric, getting them ready for us to put into sewing quilt tops,

They pinned 4 quilts to be enveloped and ready for volunteer groups to tie,

Cutting out Marble mazes and assembled 70 into kits,

Weaving insulative plastic bag sleeping mats,

And tying a quilt to start replenishing our quilt supply again!
